Mommy Makeover

Did your children ruin your breasts and abdomen? If so, a mommy makeover may help give you your body back.

A “Mommy Makeover” refers to any combination of procedures that treat the breasts and abdomen. This usually consists of:

  • Breast surgery
  • Liposuction of the abdomen and love handles
  • Tummy tuck
  • Fat transfer to deficient or collapsed areas of the butt
Problem Tissue stretching from pregnancy and breast feeding.
Procedure The breasts treated depending on your breast anatomy and goals. This could be a breast augmentation, breast lift or breast lift with implants.

Dr. Brown usually performs liposuction with most tummy tucks. The entire trunk (abdomen, love handles and back) is treated with liposuction to remove the wanted fat, improve contour and make the skin highly mobile for the tummy tuck. Following liposuction to deflate the trunk, the abdominal skin becomes very mobile and the excess abdominal skin is removed along with internal tightening of the loose abdominal muscles.   Dr. Brown positions the scar very low, 5-6 cm above where the labia majora meet.     The scar then extends to each side only as far as needed to remove the excess skin. Usually 18-23cm to each side. The goal is to keep the scar as low and short as possible so it can be hidden in a bikini.

One drain is placed OR tissue glue is used and NO DRAIN is needed.

If desired, Dr. Brown can process the fat removed from liposuction and transfer it to deficient areas of the buttock to further improve overall body contour.

Goal To improve the overall contour and appearance of the abdomen and trunk.
