  • Pre-operative Medications
    • Morning of:
      • Keflex 500mg PO x 1
    • Upon Arrival:
      • Tylenol 975mg PO x 1
      • Celebrex 400mg PO x 1
      • Gabapentin 600mg PO x 1
  • Intra-operative Medications
    • 1% Lidocaine with Epi mixed with 0.5% marcaine with epi.   50:50 mixture.  Need ~20mL total volume.  On field.
    • 0.1% lidocaine tumescent solution for fat graft harvest
  • Post-operative Medications (Prescribed pre-op)
    • Tylenol 650mg PO q6 hours scheduled
    • Cephalexin 500mg PO q6 hours scheduled for 4 doses starting after surgery
    • Pericolace 1 tab PO BID scheduled
    • Phenergan 25mg PO q8 hours PRN nausea
    • Oxycodone 5mg tabs, 1-3 tabs PO q4 hours PRN pain
    • Refresh tears
    • Refresh PM ointment
    • Arnica as explained on pack
  • Patient Position
    • Supine, head at top of bed

  • Off Sterile Field on Side Table (to be used before prep)
    • 10mL syringe, 27G 1.5 inch needle
    • 1% Lidocaine with Epi mixed with 0.5% marcaine with epi.   50:50 mixture.  Need ~20mL total volume, 10 of each but mixed and loaded into two 10mL syringes.
  • Surgical Prep
    • 5% Betadine for face
    • Chloraprep stick for abdomen
  • Irrigation Solutions
    • Eye saline.  Preload into 10mL syringe and put on field with label.

    • 15/15 pure and fulgarate

    • 4-0 Ethibond double arm large cutting x 1
    • 6-0 Fast Gut Large cutting x 2

    • Marking pen
    • Cotton tip applicators
    • Eight 10mL Syringes
    • Eight Red Caps
    • Infusion tubing (to pump tumescent fluid IN)
    • Liposuction tubing
    • Sputum Trap (to put in-line to capture fat sterile)
    • 18G Dermasculpt Cannula
    • 18G Needle to make pilot holes
  • Dressing
    • BSS eye irrigation or any Eye saline solution
    • Refresh PM eye ointment or Erythromycin ophthalmic ointment to incisions
